Coloured leaves on the maple tree behind the barnAs we celebrated Thanksgiving in Canada this past weekend, here in no particular order are some of the things I’m thankful for.

A selfless helpful kind gentle funny husband, morning sleep-ins, a new magazine, a large family with people who help and care for each other, happy cuddly nephews–and two new additions on the way, homegrown vegetables, geothermal heat, cold Coke, sisters and brothers who traveled many hours to be part of the family celebration, traditions, a fuzzy patient puppy, a good book, a clean bathroom, Blue Jays’ victories, the #worldsbestbarncat, sunshine, a great farm where I enjoy it all.
