Saying thanks

Everyone likes to be appreciated. Saying thank you is one of the most important messages you can share–but it’s one that isn’t said nearly enough.

With Thanksgiving coming up this weekend for us Canadians don’t miss this opportunity thank the people who are important to your business.

From your social media channels to your customer or employee newsletter or maybe even a special email to your clients and staff, make sure people know they matter to you and you appreciate the contributions they make.

The message doesn’t have to be long or involved. It should be genuine and warm. It should be just about appreciation–no ask or other message bundled in. And Thanksgiving shouldn’t be the only time people hear this message from you.

Which brings me to my own message of appreciation. Thank you to all of the blog readers. Thank you to my clients. I appreciate the connections and opportunities and support and enjoy working with you on your communications. It’s so meaningful to work with you to make a difference in your businesses.
